Liza and Matt got married at The Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey on May 2nd and as their Park Savoy wedding photographer, oh my goodness, what a day. A classic spring wedding, the prettiest blue and white color palette, a bridal party that had so much energy, and two people who were just so happy to be marrying each other. Scroll on for a look at their day!
Starting with the Details
Liza’s invitation suite from Minted set the tone for the whole day perfectly. Crisp white cards with blue script lettering, a blue floral envelope liner, and the sweetest blue wax seals with a monogram detail. Laid out alongside her diamond engagement ring, gold band, white rose bouquet, and those adorable white bow heels, everything just felt so intentional and so her.

Getting Ready
Liza and her girls got ready together in the bridal suite at The Park Savoy. Again, I love this space because it is clean, beautifully designed, and gets amazing natural light. The girls all wore adorable matching blue floral robes and the energy in that room was joyful and fun. Liza did a reveal with her girls when she was dressed and a little dance party started. The full skirt, the dramatic train and the strapless neckline were so classic and beautiful.
Meanwhile Matt and his guys got ready in the groom’s suite and bar area. That dark wood-paneled room with the black and white checkered floor is so fun. The guys were all in classic black tuxedos and Matt’s monogrammed PWE cufflinks were such a sweet personal touch.

The First Look
The first look was so special. Matt was waiting outside as she walked up to him and the whole moment felt so cinematic with the spring trees blooming all around them. When he finally saw her his whole face just changed. They got a few quiet minutes together before we jumped into portraits and I am so glad they chose to do a first look because those photos together are just stunning. I love how Matt took the time to really admire her dress. And of course, their personalities came out the whole time 🙂

The Bridal Party
This bridal party was so much fun to work with. The bridesmaids all wore mismatched blue gowns and together they looked incredible. Ruffled sky blue, soft dusty blue satin, floral printed styles. All of them in front of the stone chapel with their bouquets in the air, laughing and cheering. The groomsmen were equally great and the full wedding party shot on the grounds is one of my favorites. It’s no wonder these two have so many friends!

The Family
One of my absolute favorite parts of any wedding day is family photos and Liza and Matt’s families were just the sweetest. So warm, so kind, and so genuinely happy to be there celebrating these two. We got everyone together for group shots and then took our time getting individual family portraits too, and those are always the ones that make me tear up a little when I go back through the gallery. A bride with her mom, a groom with his dad, and everyone together. Those are the photos that end up on walls and get passed down and I never take that lightly. These photos were extra special because they also included dad’s amazing vintage car.

The Ceremony
The ceremony was held inside The Park Savoy’s chapel and I am just in love with that space. The dark exposed wooden beams, the arched windows with all that gorgeous natural light pouring in, the antique chandelier overhead. Crest Florist did the most beautiful arrangements of blue hydrangeas and white flowers at the altar and they were absolutely show-stopping. Liza walked in on her dad’s arm and Matt’s face when he saw her coming down the aisle is the sweetest. Just the best.

Park Savoy Wedding Photography
The Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey is one of my favorite venues to photograph. The estate has so much to work with and every time I shoot here I come away with images I am really proud of. A few of my favorite things about shooting at The Park Savoy:
- The stone chapel with soaring ceilings, dark wooden beams, and arched windows
- The manicured garden grounds with blooming tulips and cherry blossoms in spring
- The grand ballroom with its ornate fireplace and warm, romantic lighting
- The beautiful bridal and groom suites with great natural light for getting ready photos
- The estate exterior and chapel facade as a backdrop for wedding party portraits
The Park Savoy is located in Florham Park, New Jersey, easily accessible from Manhattan, northern NJ, and the surrounding Morris County area. It’s one of my most requested New Jersey wedding venues and a place I genuinely love returning to every season.

Portraits on the Grounds
After the ceremony we had the best time out on the grounds for portraits. Spring at The Park Savoy is seriously so pretty. Tulips and cherry blossoms everywhere, that lush green all around them. Liza’s cathedral veil was so dreamy to photograph and we got so many good ones. The shot of them kissing under her veil with the garden behind them is one of my favorites from the whole day. Matt dipping her in front of the chapel doors is another one I keep going back to. They were just so relaxed and easy together and it showed in every single frame.

The Reception
The ballroom was absolutely stunning. Crest Florist did such an incredible job. Tall white floral centerpieces on every table, candles glowing everywhere, and the most gorgeous garland draped across the fireplace mantel. The wedding cake was displayed right in front of the fireplace and it looked so classic and beautiful in that room.
Once Hank Lane Music got going the room was electric. The first dance was so sweet and when Matt dipped Liza the whole room erupted. After that it was just pure fun all night. The dance floor never emptied. Liza’s bridesmaids kept the energy going the whole time and watching everyone out there together was honestly the best part of the evening.

Liza and Matt, thank you so much for having me be part of your day. It was so full of love and joy from start to finish and I am so happy I got to capture it. Wishing you both the happiest life together!
