Alexandra and Dan’s Spring Park Loft Wedding
Spring florals, butter yellow bridesmaids, and a packed dance floor all night. Alexandra and Dan’s Park Loft wedding in Oceanport NJ was one of the most fun spring weddings ever! Alexandra and Dan had their ceremony at St. Rose in Belmar and then their wedding reception at Park Loft. Everything about this day felt joyful and personal and full of the best energy!
Getting Ready
Alexandra got ready with her mom and her best girls! The bridesmaids were in black robes and Alexandra wore the prettiest lace robe. She opened gifts, read a letter, and there were definitely some happy tears. Her Justin Alexander gown was so beautiful. The lace sleeves, the classic shape. She looked incredible. Hair by Heydi and makeup by Chrys were perfection. Alexandra did a special reveal with her bridesmaids and a first look with her dad before leaving for their church ceremony in Belmar.

The Ceremony at St. Rose, Belmar
St. Rose in Belmar is such a beautiful church. The stained glass windows are gorgeous and the altar was surrounded by colorful spring flowers. After the ceremony the whole bridal party and all of the guests gathered on the steps for a bubble exit and it was such a beautiful grand exit.

The Bridal Party
I loved this bridal party! The girls wore the prettiest butter yellow gowns from Azazie. This is always a favorite color scheme that I hope is here to stay! The guys were in classic black from Men’s Wearhouse with Dan in his midnight blue standing out perfectly. We shot portraits on the grounds at Park Loft and the cherry blossoms were in peak bloom! Weeping willows, green pathways, pink blossoms. It was a dream for photos. This group had so much fun together and it showed!

Bride and Groom Portraits at The Park Loft Wedding Venue
These two are so easy to photograph. They are natural together and you can just feel how happy they are. We walked around the grounds at Park Loft and every direction was a beautiful backdrop. Cherry blossoms, willow trees, green lawns. Alexandra’s veil caught the wind and it was so pretty. The venue property is very walkable and truly beautiful at every turn!

About Park Loft Weddings
Park Loft in Oceanport is such a cool venue. It has this industrial-chic feel that is really different from a lot of Jersey Shore wedding venues.
- The reception space has exposed steel beams, dark wood farm tables, and ring chandeliers that give the room such a warm and modern look
- The grounds are gorgeous with cherry blossom trees, weeping willows, and tons of green space for portraits
- The mix of industrial finishes and elegant lighting creates a really unique vibe that photographs so well
- There is a great staircase inside that is perfect for grand entrances
- It is located in Oceanport and it is a really beautiful option for couples who want something stylish at the Shore
Family
This family was the warmest. You could feel how much everyone loves Alexandra and Dan. Her dad was honestly one of the highlights of the entire day. He was on the dance floor all night. Dancing with guests, dancing with his daughter, just bringing the best energy to everything. The moments between Alexandra and her mom were so tender too. Those quiet little in-between moments are always some of my favorites to capture.

Reception Details
The room at Park Loft looked so great. Dark wood tables, black bistro chairs, candlelight everywhere. Kayla at Calla Floral Atelier did the florals and they were perfect. Bright and springy with soft pastels and little wildflower touches. Single stems in bud vases and daisies on the tables kept everything feeling fresh. The whole look matched the day so well.
The spring palette came through everywhere. Bright florals, soft pastels, and little personal touches on every table. The table numbers had photos of the two of them ( at the age of the table number) which I thought was so cute. And the cake from Chocolate Carousel had the best detail. A little figurine of their dog Izzy taking a bite out of it. So sweet!

Park Loft Wedding Reception
Okay this reception. This was one of the best dance floors I have seen this year!
Alexandra and Dan came down the grand staircase for their entrance and the room loved it. Their first dance was so sweet. And then the father-daughter dance! It started as this slow sentimental song and then completely switched into a full-on dance party. The bridal party rushed in, everyone was cheering, and it started an evening of lively dancing.
JB PRO Live had the dance floor packed from the very first song. Alexandra’s girls were right there with her the whole night hyping her up. Every guest was dancing, even their 100 year old great-uncle. It was that kind of wedding. At the end of the night they did a custom t-shirt and hat toss and everyone threw on their new merch. Such a fun way to close out the night!

Thank You
Alexandra and Dan, this wedding was so special. Thank you for trusting me with your day. Your families, your friends, your energy. It all made for one of my favorite weddings to photograph. Wishing you and Izzy the happiest life together.
