Sonali and Ross’s Hudson House Jersey City wedding day was nothing short of magical! With breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, an emotional first look at Liberty State Park, and a reception filled with love and laughter, their multicultural celebration was an unforgettable one.
Jersey City Morning & First Look with a View
Sonali and Ross chose Liberty State Park for their first look and wedding portraits. It was the perfect location, located minutes away from Hudson House, their wedding venue. I love that they decided on a first look. It really saved the day for their wedding portraits- because the rain started soon after! The moment Ross turned around to see Sonali in her elegant gown was filled with raw emotion and pure joy. The NYC skyline served as the perfect backdrop as they embraced, laughed, and soaked in the day. We explored the park, capturing timeless portraits. I love Liberty State Park for a mix of waterfront views and greenery, adding an iconic touch and variety to their wedding gallery.
The Ceremony & Reception at Hudson House
Following their portraits, we made our way to Hudson House, a stunning wedding venue known for its panoramic views of the New York City skyline. Their ceremony was set against floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing natural light to pour in as they exchanged vows, even with the rain outside. Every detail of the reception, from the floral arrangements to the candlelit tables was flawless. Their cake (!!) was a real showstopper with 6 tiers and gorgeous handcrafted florals adorning it. Sonali and Ross’s wedding was a beautiful blend of cultures, combining a Jewish wedding ceremony with Sri Lankan wedding traditions. This fusion made their celebration even more special. They were honoring both of their backgrounds in a way that felt deeply personal and meaningful for them and their families.
A Night to Remember
As the sun set, the city lights illuminated the night, creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere. Guests danced, laughed, and celebrated Sonali and Ross’s new chapter together.
