To Be Young and In Love in NYC:
I loved Christina & Casey’s engagement session in New York City. As an NYC wedding photographer, Central Park is one of my favorite places! With its vibrant spring blooms and iconic landmarks, this session was a dream!
Christina wore a stunning little white dress that perfectly complemented Casey’s crisp white button-down shirt- such a classic look for engagement photos! We kicked off the session on the upper west side, surrounded by charming brownstones and city streets, then ventured into the park for more portraits. I love that there is such a fun variety of backdrops throughout the park and the surrounding area outside. The spring flowers were in bloom!
The Central Park Rowboats: (10/10 recommend!)
One of my favorite highlights from the session was having them go in the Central Park rowboats along the river. It was the most romantic way to explore central park and I just love the photos! I would absolutely recommend taking the rowboats out for your engagement session (or even as a date night activity!)
We also explored some of Central Park’s most iconic spots, such as Bethesda Terrace and Fountain and Bow Bridge. They did a morning session, so it was a bit less busy in the park and the lighting was beautiful. I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding this Summer at Bonnet Island Estate in NJ.
The Proposal:
“We went on a walk to “brunch” through Central Park and stopped at one of our favorite spots, Belvedere Castle, where he set up flowers and photos of us. Then we met our families at the Campbell Apartment, our favorite bar in NYC.”
I love that Christina & Casey chose to come back to Central Park for their engagement photos! It was so much fun exploring the park with them and chatting all about their relationship and wedding plans. Congratulations Christina & Casey!
