Brooklyn Botanic Garden Wedding Photographer
Capturing love stories at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is always a dream, and Ashley and Dan’s summertime wedding was no exception. As their Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding photographer, I had the joy of documenting every breathtaking detail- from the lush florals to their magical golden-hour portraits. There’s something truly special about photographing weddings in such a picturesque setting!
Ashley and Dan shared an intimate first look in the Rose Garden, surrounded by vibrant summertime blooms. They were the kindest couple, radiating the best energy despite the unpredictable weather. Their ceremony in the Cherry Esplanade was perfectly timed. The rain stopped just in time for them to have their outdoor cermony. The celebration continued with a breathtaking reception. They danced under the stars- in the stunning Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Getting Ready at One Hotel Brooklyn
Our day began at the One Hotel Brooklyn, where Ashley and her bridal party prepped for the big day. As a Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding photographer, I love capturing these joyful, behind-the-scenes moments filled with laughter, dancing, and happy tears. The excitement in the room was contagious. Also, Ashley’s wedding details were absolutely stunning. Yellow Bow Floral outdid themselves with a dreamy bouquet that perfectly complemented the soft, romantic vibe of the day. Ashley was absolutely radiant in her Berta gown. Dan and his groomsmen also looked sharp in classic black tuxes, of course, as they prepped for the big day as well.

First Look in the Rose Garden
Despite afternoon rain showers, we made our way to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for Ashley and Dan’s first look in the Rose Garden. The moment they saw each other was pure magic—so much joy, so much love. Even with the rain coming down, the garden provided a breathtaking backdrop, and we captured some of my favorite portraits of the day in this intimate and serene space.
Cherry Esplanade Ceremony // Brooklyn Botanic Garden Wedding Photographer
Just in time for their ceremony, the rain let up, and guests gathered on the Cherry Esplanade to witness Ashley and Dan exchange vows. Yellow Bow Floral created a stunning grounded ceremony installation that blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the garden.

Reception Under the Stars in the Palm House
Following the heartfelt ceremony, everyone headed to the iconic Palm House for an evening of celebration. I adore how the golden light streams into this glass-enclosed space during the day and how the twinkling stars become part of the backdrop at night—it’s magical!
Surprise Dress Change & Dance Party
One of the highlights of the evening? Ashley’s surprise dress change! After dinner, she slipped into her second dress and made her grand re-entrance to —“Dancing Queen.” It was the perfect way to kick off a night of celebration, laughter, and non-stop dancing.

Ashley and Dan’s Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding was truly unforgettable. From the rain-kissed first look to the starlit reception, every moment was filled with beauty and love. If you’re planning your own wedding at this iconic venue, I’d love to capture your day as your Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding photographer!
